shake-the-world

I had the incredible honor of speaking to a group of graduate students and entrepreneurs at MIT on April 24.  The Legatum Center for Development & Entrepreneurshipis, in my view, one of the    most cutting-edge forums for progressive thought and innovation when it comes to international business, social impact and finding ways to create baselines for entrepreneurs in the developing  world.  Perhaps more exciting than being invited to MIT to lecture was my interaction with students after the event, who were chock-full of great questions and even betterideas.  Ideas are the  currency with which we progress – a concept that could not be better proven than by the Legatum Center’s founder, Iqbal Quadir, who created Grameen Phone (a multi-billion dollar social  enterprise) and invited me to lecture.  As always, I learned so much from the audience and left the event with a flurry of new ideas.  Plus, it’s always an incredible bonus to visit my one-time hometown of Cambridge.  More soon…
